The perfect ending

 Hello!

I am  Sogand Qader and I was given the assignment to write a blog about that if I were a writer of my favorite movie or series how will I change the ending. So I'm writing a blog about the change in the ending of a Netflix original series named the The Haunting Of Bly Manor. It's just about what I think the ending should be.

The Haunting Of Bly Manor is a horror series on Netflix; it's a very tragic and horror story related to a family and a governess living in the same Bly Manor.

The main character in this story is the governess (Dani Clayton) who moved from the United States to the UK in search of peace from some past calamities.

She, after sometime read an article about a governess job at the Bly Manor, which for some reason was always vacant, so her curiosity grew and later she found herself applying for the job, at the Wingrave's Law Firm, when she got selected, she went to the Bly Manor where she met Miles and Flora Wingrave, the children of the owner of the Bly Manor who died in a tragic crash. She then met the Gardner (Jamie), the Chef (Owen) and the Housekeeper ( Hannah Grose), the day was tiresome so she went to get some rest.

At night Flora told her not to come out of her room at night but because of her curiosity she went out  and so Flora locked her in the closet, which made Dani so angry, the two kids tried to apologise and Dani got better too, Miles and Flora started to get along with Dani, and so did she; the people at the Manor became her family now, but the reason why Dani moved from UK still bothered her, she couldn't forgot the tragic death of her fiance who died in a road traffic accident just before her eyes and in the dark night, she could only see the shining spectacles of his dying fiance which kept haunting her.

After the few days later the secrets of the Manor kept on revealing, and Dani knew that the Manor of the Wingrave's was haunted by the Lake Lady, who was the previous owner of the Manor, who died tragically and was in search of her daughter

All the people in the house the chef, the governess, the Gardner, the Housekeeper knew there was something wrong but they never knew the story behind the Lake Lady. They were all curious and wanted to know, so they started digging and later came to realize that the Lake Lady needs her daughter. The Governess (Dani) tried to save the kids and herself and everyone living in the Manor but the Lake Lady has held grasp of Flora and because of saving her she bargained her own life, but the Lake Lady did not take her till moved into another city with Jamie(the Gardner) who she loved unconditionally, but her fate never left her and at last she lied to go back to the Lake Lady.

This series is my favorite but if I were the writer, I would've let the Lake Lady go away and let Dani live her life with Jamie, cause the Wingrave's lived happily ever after, so should've she.
